TTA announces breakthrough in machine development
Some time ago, TTA introduced the CuttingEdge, a machine that analyzes and processes plant material. This machine helps horticulture businesses significantly reduce processing costs and offers an unprecedented improvement in quality. The CuttingEdge is based on a versatile platform (VisionFlex) where conveyor belts, a vision system, and a robot can perform many tasks and automate almost all processes. The precise robot arm has a standard connector system, allowing it to carry various grippers and tools. By analyzing market needs and using existing knowledge and proven technology within Eurogroep, we developed a machine that is highly flexible. We are especially proud of our in-house developed Deep Learning vision software combined with a multi-axis industrial robot: together, they offer unprecedented versatility.
TTA, part of Eurogroep (a Dutch family business), was the first group member to use the VisionFlex platform for plant material. More applications will follow soon!
